МОЙ АРКАИМ (АННА)»
ЯНА ЭРИКА КУЛБЕРГА
Ландшафтно-культурное произведение художника-авангардиста из Финляндии Яна Эрика Кулберга. Создано в заповеднике «Аркаим» в 2006 году. Арт-объект создавался как символ связей ушедших и ныне живущих поколений.
Инсталляция выполнена в форме выступающих из земли человеческих рук и голов. Это творение с легкой руки местных жителей и посетителей заповедника получило неофициальное название «Поле чудес».
Идея инсталляции в южноуральской степи возникла у Яна Эрика за три года до воплощения, когда в августе 2003 года он впервые приехал на Аркаим. Тогда, при посещении Музея древних производств, художник был поражен уровнем ремесленного мастерства древних людей. Ему представилось, что сотни их умелых рук протягиваются навстречу современникам из недр земли.
«Я чувствую, как их души поднимаются на видимый нам уровень»,– говорил художник.
Руки когда-то живших на этой земле людей двигаются к центральному кругу, ведь Аркаим – это тоже круг. В центре – солнце, вокруг которого, как брызги лучей, радиально расположены металлические детали различной формы. В дневное время суток их полированная поверхность отражает солнце под разным углом.
«И, возможно, эти лучи попадут в кого-то из современников как весть из прошлого, таким образом состоится встреча людей разных времен, но общей исторической памяти».

INSTALLATION “TOWARDS THE SUN!
MY ARKAIM (ANNA)”

Landscape artifact by an avant-garde artist from Finland, Jan-Eric Kullberg. It was created in the Arkaim reserve in 2006. This art object was meant to symbolize the connections between the generations, alive and long gone.
The installation is presented as human hands and heads rising from the ground. Local residents and the reserve visitors have nicknamed this installation “Field of Miracles”.
Jan-Eric had come up with the concept of this installation in the southern Ural steppe three years before the project was actually performed, when in August 2003 he visited Arkaim for the very first time. Back then, while he visited the Museum of Ancient Crafts, the artist was impressed by the level of artisanal craft of those ancient people. He imagined hundreds of skilled hands stretching out towards him from beneath the ground.
“I feel their souls rising up to the level that is already visible for us”, the artist said.
Hands of the people who used to live on this land are moving towards the central circle, as Arkaim is also a circle in itself. In the center, there lies the Sun, and then there are metallic pieces of all shapes, located radially around it, like splashes of sun rays. And depending on the time of the day, their polished surfaces reflect the sun under different angles.
“And maybe these rays will hit someone of our contemporaries, just like a message from the past, thus making people meet, people from different eras, but sharing the same historical memory”.

The project is dedicated to the artist’s daughter named Anna born in the same year when the artistic initiative was performed in Arkaim.
